Father's day gift using scrappin' sports and more

It's hard to believe that Father's Day is right around the corner! This year just seems to be flying! Summer is full in swing...and I am officially running out of ideas *already* to keep the kids busy!

My Dad is a huge "golf guy/golf nut" everything is about golf! scrappin' sports and more offers several fun golf papers and embellishments that are just perfect for those "golf guys" in your life!

For this project I headed out to my local home improvement store to pick up some 4x4's...and had them cut while I was there too...gotta love a guy with a saw right ;)

I also "went green" on this project and used an old cereal box to make my own chipboard with the cricut and SCAL program...gosh I think I am a little addicted to my bug and SCAL lately...

Here's the completed altered wood project:

I have a few more "golf" projects to finish up...I hope to share more soon.

I would love to see your Father's Day ideas too...if you have something to share I would love to take a look...leave me a link in the comments section.

Also if you have any ideas on how to keep your kids busy in the summer...please help a girl out ;) LOL!

Hey, I guess it's been a few weeks since I've posted you anything, but I just wanted to let you know that I've joined a new group called "Scrapfriendzy". It's a month-long extravaganza of challenges avg'ing 4 a week or so plus any bonus challenges. For each that is completed, you recieve so many pointz. At the end of the month, the girl with the highest amount of friendz-pointz wins a cool prize! Oh, and it's stress-free which I am so thankful for! :)

This is so creative...I love it. One thing that my kids loved to do when they were little was to give them an old paint brush and a bucket of water and let them paint on anything outside...the patio, driveway, their swingset, etc. That would keep them busy for quite some time.
