BBTB and SS&M

Well it's been a while since I shared something...the weekend proved to be a crazy one with a birthday party, date/Christmas Shopping with my sweet husband, and lots of decorating...not to mention getting ready for a Thanksgiving weekend!

Anyway between all of these things I was able to finish up some Scrappin' Sports and More projects ...this weekend I finished 1 layout (I will post later..it's too dark to photo outside), 2 cards, and a little Thanksgiving gift bag using the turkey cut *which was also the challenge this week over at BBTB.

Anyway, I better get back to the laundry...so here's all of the projects...and I will post the layout tomorrow :)

Thanks for stopping in and have a super day everyone!

Happy Birthday to my Baby! and the RAK drawing :)

It's crazy how fast time zooms by! It seems like yesterday that I was heading into the hospital to deliver my little baby boy...and today it has all come full circle that he is no longer a little baby but a little boy. My baby turned 3 today! We are celebrating this morning around here eating cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday more times than I care to admit to ;) and it's only 8am!

Gavin is a little light in our family...a miracle for us as we went through so much to get him here. He is full of personality and I am so thankful to have him in our lives...we are truly blessed!

Here's my little Gavin:) If you look close you can see him balancing a pen behind his ear...I love this picture as it captures his personality so well :)

OK so on with the draw...since it was Gavin's Birthday today I let him pull a name out of the "hat" (it was really a bowl) and the winner is......

BBTB Challenge this week...

Over at BBTB this week we were challenged to use the tree cut from the stretch your imagination cartridge. We were able to use any of the cuts but there was one catch...it needed to be "Christmas like" and I have to admit it was a bit hard for me to go totally "Christmas" with this cut.

Here's my take on this weeks challenge (the inside of the card reads...it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas":

Make sure to check out the BBTB site to see what the other designers created this week!

Also, don't forget about my RAK...I will announce the winner on Tuesday...click here for your chance to win :)

Give Thanks-Thanksgiving is upon us...RAK

Looking at the calendar it's crazy how fast the year is moving...Thanksgiving is going to be here before we know it. It seems like I just took down the Halloween decorations!

I had a spot in my house that looked a bit bare after taking down my Halloween decorations...so I made a little "give thanks" sign today. I purchased a dark sage green plate from Walmart and then used my design studio with the doodlecharms, mini monograms, and plantin schoolbook cartridges.

I then cut the leaf out in copper vinyl and the saying out in beige and layered the two together.

Here's my completed project:

So in honor of the spirit of Thanksgiving-sharing and being thankful...I am going to have a little fun RAK...leave me a comment here under this posting and I will enter you into a drawing for a chance to win this design cut for you! I will cut, peel, and apply the transfer tape...and mail it off to you...all you will need to do is pick up a plate at walmart :) Good luck to everyone that enters...I will pull out a name on Tuesday morning and announce the winner here on my blog :)

...oh and for those that have all of these cartridges and design studio...if you want to make your own with my pattern...here's a link to download it.

Miss me? Hellllooooo out there? Yes...I am blogging :)

Happy Veterans Day Everyone! Today since my husband was off from work and the kids still had to attend school…we went out to lunch. I was in awe with all of the American flags on display all over our city. It always touches me so much when I see our little area united with a love of our country. On our way home from lunch the song “God Bless the U.S.A” came on the radio…and I told my husband…that just makes me tear up! I am proud to be an American…and I am thankful to all of the service men and woman that serve our great country.

On another note…I have a few scrapbooking related things to share today. The first one is a publication with scrapbook trends! I am delighted to be in this little book! Scrapbook Trends does such a stand up job with their magazine…and this little digital idea book is outstanding…and I am not just saying that because I was lucky enough to be in the book either…seriously…if you don’t have it…you need it!

It’s also been a while since I shared something that I have made. Trust me when I say there has been a lot of creating going on around here…just nothing that I can share right now. It’s all new stuff being released at winter CHA!

Anyway, here’s a little book that I made actually about 3 weeks ago (just never photographed it)…it’s a recipe book that I made with my new zutter (gotta love the zutter) and some awesome scrappin’ sports and more product!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

BBTB Challenge this week...

Well I wish it was Monday but it's so not...LOL. What a crazy weekend we had! Promise me when I say you don't want to be bored with the details.

Anyway, this week over at BBTB we were challenged to use a few fonts from scrapnfonts.com paired with the scalloped card from the Christmas Cheer cartridge.

Here's my take on this weeks challenge:

I hope you are all off to a super week!

So I've been MIA....

and for good reason...I promise :) I have been working on some creations for winter CHA! Can you beleive it we are already working for CHA winter...some exciting stuff coming out! and I wish I could share...but I can't...darn it all! LOL

Anyway, yesterday was a crazy insane day at our house...and I am sure at many houses around the world! Halloween is just one of those holiday's for me that just really wears me out.

Our day started long before the sun came up yesterday and went on long after it was gone.

Chad was able to spend the entire day with us yesterday. He was out of town at the first part of the week getting ready for the grand opening of a new bank...which left me being a single mom...hats off to all the single mom's out there...wow it's a hard job!

Our first stop yesterday was to Ashlee's class...her class party was in the morning at 9 am. Her kinder class did an amazing job entertaining all of us through dance and songs. I even got a chance to get on the floor and join her in a little Halloween dance. Now keep in mind I really shouldn't dance in public...I just really wasn't blessed in that area...LOL but I did make a fool of myself and guess what my 5-year-old loved it ;)

Here's Ashlee this year...she is a pirate...but of course "Ashlee style"...very girly and well let's face it it's a bit more on the princess side of things...:)

Gavin was so funny this year...he knew exactly what he wanted to be this year and let's just say that he really rocked the Bob the builder look. Everywhere we went he was a big hit...esp. with the girls! He's a stinker...but boy was he cute yesterday!

After Ashlee's party we headed out to breakfast (since Chad and I really haven't seen each other too much lately...he's been so busy.) and then we headed home so I could finish 1 last layout for CHA releases for Best Creation and get things ready for Jackson's school party since I am the room Mom for his class.

We then headed out to Jackson's party. Jackson was Anaken (hope that's how you spell that LOL) this year...he's growing up way to fast!

We then headed home to get ready for trick-or-treating. After a few hours of trick-or-treating the kids were so done...and I was too LOL. We handed out candy for the rest of the night.

So now I am just trying to recover! and plan on taking the day easy and clean up my studio (you should see this mess!).

OH...and guess who turns 33 in a few days? That would be me...Sunday is my birthday! ;)

Have a great weekend everyone~
