Changes...

I just wanted to put out a general posting letting everyone know that I am very flattered by all of the emails and comments that I have received and the friendships that I have made over the last couple of years. I truly do love paper crafting...but I have turned a "hobby" into a job...and I have not spent as much time with my family as I need to. They truly are more important to me then ANY hobby, publications that will not matter in 10 years, or filling my room full of FREE products...and I need to refocus on my marriage and my kids.

Now, this is not saying that I will not be still sharing my work, freebie cuts, etc. But I can not promise that I will be doing this weekly. I will continue with my designing for special teams that I am on...and I will still be sharing those things here on my blog for now.

Basically, I have realized that life is too short to watch it from my craft room window, while working for free things that my husband can afford to buy me anyway...I need to go out and enjoy life with my family again.

Have a super week everyone!

That's so true. I am all about the simple life family dinner, quiet evenings on the porch or game time with the family. Good luck and I look forward to still seeing your creations when you post them.

Well said. I appreciate your creativity, but certainly not at the expense of the people who mean the most to you. Family is SO important!! I am a stay-at-home-mom so that I don't miss those wonderful moments that can pass so quickly. Enjoy your quality time with your husband and children who need you the most. Make some beautiful memories together and then scrapbook them if you happen to find the time, rather than the reverse. Blessings to you!

Good for you!! I totally agree with you, sometimes being talented like you are becomes a burden and you are doing good to back up and not let it rule your life. :-)

Jen.....I think you are NOT the only one that feels this way!!! Enjoy your family NOW because you are right - 10 years from now - it will NOT matter how many publications or how much free stuff you received!!! I agree with you 100% and trust me - there have been MANY time I have felt exactly the same way.....you are not alone!!!!

Lots of hugs, T
